Looking at the replay again, it appears to me that Acciari might've kneed himself in the face when he kicked his right leg up to aid the back flip. That could've contributed to him being slow to get up... not that it excuses it, since doing it to himself to try to draw a penalty is hardly better.

Then it would be a travesty that the game would be decided from a non-call like that

NHL doesn’t give a f***.

The whole playoffs has countless examples of blatant improper calls. Too much discretion is given to these refs.

Are we using the excuse that the game is too fast again? This isn’t a run/gun final.

I'm leaning on the theory of overall play for 55 minutes for the winner…. The Blues have been better...

That said, if Binnington collapses Boston could pull this out..

If the Bruins tie this game, they'll win this game, and that would be an incredible gut punch for St. Louis to recover from.

The Stanley Cup may well be decided in these five minutes.

There were a handful of non-calls in the minute before the goal. Clear trips and clear interference. And yet another non-call before Krug scored when he got stick right in the face. I get that on one play in OT in SJ series Blues think they got robbed. But they won the series. Since then, other than game 1, the refs have let them do anything they want almost all the time. Embarrassingly incompetent referees. Just beyond awful. And I DON'T LIKE THE BRUINS.
