That is just factually incorrect. Barkov was arguably more valuable than Tkachuk in both Toronto and Carolina series. Tkachuk clearly had the Boston series though. Bobrovsky was great in all 3 series until the finals.

I'll take the guy who scored 3 of the 4 GWG's in the series to send his team to the stanley cup finals, but that's just me.

I hate to say it, but I think is shows more than ever you don’t need to pay a ton of money on goaltending. Establish a good defensive system and have a goalie that plays just good enough to not crap the bed. I mean, we won with a Kuemper/Francouz duo that could barely get above .900 save percentage last year. Hill is literally a 4th string goalie. The Knights defensive structure severely limits the Panthers.

Vegas is playing the perfect game around him. No offense to Hill, but he doesn't move very well. But VGK is forcing low shots and blocking almost everything. Cassidy is doing a great job, and his players are all in.
