Refs aren't the reason the cats are losing. Not scoring any goals is. They just need to get 1 back and it's a new game again.

It is not that Bod has regressed. Vegas is pumping on 8 cylinders and Florida players are not meeting the speed of Vegas.

He's definitely regressed.

Carolina and the Leafs were outshooting Florida 2 to 1. Didn't Carolina have 45 shots and like 1 goal?

Now, he's not even managing a .900 save percentage.

I think ironically, losing 2 games to Dallas after going up 3-0 was the best thing to happen to Vegas because it made Bob have 9 days off between games to cool him off and get him off his timing.

Look Gudas was hit with no puck, no call, Montour hits with no puck, call. All I'm saying is the refs are going to let that stuff go, fine, but don't call one team when they do that and not the other. there is no excuse. 2 refs shouldn't be missing calls. They need to be consistent either way. That is all I'm saying
Gudas would've lit Barbashev up if the latter did nothing. Let's be serious.

Hmm...I wouldn't really call Hill "calm". He's getting it done, obviously.
Not all that much calmness out there IMO
Yeah, don't know what they're watching but there's no calm in Hill's game at all. He's damned near hectic as compared to more polished goalies his size.

I guess this is what happens when Florida gets average goaltending.

They've been outplayed in just about every game I've seen them in, but Bob was in god mode....if he doesn't step up this is going to be a short series.

Toronto and Carolina both had flaws to their game that Florida was able to expose. If Vegas had a flaw we would have thought it was goaltending but Hill has been lights out so far.

2 goals clearly from botched calls.. 1st one should have been 4 on 4 and the 2nd one there was a clear missed slash and also a crosscheck on tkachuk. This is unreal. Referees are missing clear ones from florida as well. I get that this is the playoffs, but this is horribad.
Upload a list of these so people can reference them in future arguments, please.

They were literally statistically outchanced significantly by both Toronto and Carolina.

You're viewing results, but anyone who watched those series' were well aware of who carried the play, Boston outplayed them as well.
Literally isn't doing much here.

Hill isn’t a positional goalie. He plays an athletic game. His issues in SJ were due to positional errors. Mainly playing too deep or too shallow and getting sniped on.

I see it differently.

To me Vegas is the first team that’s really getting to the middle and high danger areas consistently against them.

I think it's easier to reach the conclusions when the puck bounces your way, but as far as scoring chances, high danger chances and XGF goes Toronto and Carolina both had the underlying numbers to match the eye test.

Florida top to bottom simply isn't a very good team.

Compared to Quick he is calm with how he plays in net. Don't see him getting to far out of the blue paint. He plays deep in his net a great deal.

Does not mean he does have skills to make an athletic save.

MAF had a good run in 2018. He came to earth a bit in the Finals but Vegas' defense just wasn't showing up either. Couldn't tell you how many cross crease passes the Knights failed to cut off.

Right, 2018 the Flower was pretty solid. Two years ago against the Habs, he was just awful.

Of course, that was mostly on DeBoer for playing the small goalie against a team that regularly struggled to score against big goalies and Lehner was perfectly healthy and rested. One of the single dumbest coaching moves that I have seen in the NHL.

What are you talking about? Gudas is trying to hit Barbashev after Barbashev just got rid of the puck. Gudas is the initiator of contact, Barbashev won

I count a couple interference, a head shot, and running the goalie that have gone uncalled against Fla so far. Take off your blinders.

And Gudas was reverse hit btw. He came in for that.
