Tampa put a lot of shots on net in the 3rd but how many were dangerous? I think their best scoring chances came in the 2nd period. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want them to give up 20+ shots in a period but the Stars are very good at limiting the quality chances even though they allow a ton of shots when in turtle mode.

I expect Tampa to be much better next game, so let’s hope we see more of the Stars from the first two periods of that game.

It was awful. But if we can go into the 3rd with a 3-1 lead, it’s not the worst.

Yeah but they have pulled this shit every game they have a lead, they sit back and let the other teams fire at will on them. A lot of the 20 shots tampa took were not dangerous but there were several that were.

That Kiviranta goal was honestly so freaking huge. I didn't realize until before I saw the third period. Just imagine a scenario where Tampa put that much pressure on us and we we'd been up only by one. They would've felt much more confident about themselves.

Dallas always lays back when they are up 2 goals. They may give up shots but they are not quality chances.
