You clearly never talked to any actual Canes fans. We all loved that he was on an excellent run, he had a period of absolute dominance...but we also knew he'd eventually come back down to earth. Additionally, despite getting so many Ws, his SV% was never all that stellar, so he was getting a lot of them off a team that was just rolling. We actually are quite a knowledgeable fanbase, thank you for noticing!

Difference between Freddy and Marner is Freddy can't hide he is the guy. There isn't another goalie who can take high danger chances away from him and let him clean up whats left like Marner has with Eichel taking primary defensive matchups away vs when he was in Toronto and got matched up against the top defensive units.

Marner is going to win the cup for sure with Vegas they are a great team. Carolina are a great team too. But it's clear the difference is no one trusts Freddy to stop the puck when it matters

I'd be worried if we played our best game Tuesday night. We didn't.

Show up tonight, take care of business, and then it's off to Vegas to steal one and retake home ice.

I remember when insufferable Habs fans were booking our tee times after game 1 of the ECF.... that worked out not so well for them.
