He's done that enough. How about the team comes through and pots a couple early to take the pressure off? That would be nice for once!

And if they can't? Yes....Hank shut the door then.

Won't happen. We're talking about the New York Rangers who even had to make Mike Richter stand on his head despite having the best lineup in the league by far. Nothing is easy for us.

Except that this is mot his first big playoff, and he also is a big part of a fourth line that allowed this team to be much deeper in the regular season.

I understand that but in my opinion having a high paid 4th line is a very bad thing to have and will be a severe drag on your offense because you are lacking money to spend and lock up more top tier talents.

Rangers need to stop turning the puck over and letting the Kings go right around them....

One strong period away from getting back to NY. Pot a third goal, let's do it.

I totally agree but considering how the Rangers have played in the third period through out this series...I think he really needs to shut the door

Its unrealistic to expect your goalie to stop everything. Kings are too talented. One deflection, or screen and its in the net.

Team in front of him NEEDS to score insurance goals. To deflate the crowd, the opposing team and allow some room for error against Hank.

I hope as much of this team stays together going into next season as is humanly possible regardless of what happens tonight. Sometimes the collective is better than the individuals.

Amen. It's time to at least give Hank some breathing room, from both the Kings offense and the refs.

Doughty is better than McDonagh but there is no gap anymore.

Doughty has streches of disappearing in the regular season both defensively and offensively.

That's why he doesn't win Norris trophies.

In the league six seasons and he has one postseason (2nd team) all star.

Doughty's postseason play vaults him above most. That's a big one, but that's about it.

I agree, we need to at least play a portion of the period in their zone.

2 golds one cup. Best defender on those teams so nope

Why does any of that matter? McDonagh is the best defender on the Rangers and on the US Olympic team. It just so happens that he played for worse teams than Doughty did.

If you are going to say Doughty is better, at least say its because you think he is a better hockey player. Don't bring up this meaningless championships argument for two players that are still very young.

The Kings have more composure in this regard than the Rangers' other three playoff opponents combined. The Rangers have to play the game like they're not in a safe place.

This 3rd period needs a lot of hustle, forecheck, deep pucks and 3rd man high.

Keep attacking and let them make the mistakes.

Hank needs to play his best and we head back to ny lookin to make it 3-3.

Doughty epitomizes the Kings themselves.
