You need a new hip?

That avy though.

been coming here for years, and never posted before.

I feared the kings, but after watching game one, I think l.a. is very beatable.

3 solid 20 minute periods and the rangers can win this game.

I drove back from MA today and listened to WFAN for the first in awhile.

Some interesting tidbits.

The Basketball final's ratings beat the NHL SCF game one in NY.

Anecdotally half the calls were from listeners wanting to talk about Lebron James.

I guess it only confirms that hockey is a second class citizen no I mean fourth class citizen in NY. Thinking about LA .... are there any hockey fans in that city at all?

The consensus is that game two is a must win. The MC thought that the Rangers won't beat the Kings 4 of the next 5 so a loss tonite would be devastating. I'll have to go along with that reasoning. Pittsburgh struggled in their first round and the Rangers came back to beat them in round 2. This King team had many chances to lose against the best but still prevailed. A loss tonite and the Rangers will be asked to climb out of hole, entering as an underdog in the series, against a team that demonstrated the will to win. Can it happen? I suppose? Likely? No.

A sportswriter from the Daily news thought Nash played a good first game and was one of the better forwards on the ice. I still wish we could see better offensive stats from Nash. I do believe the fate of the team going forward depends on his scoring . The one thing I do believe is that Stepan and Kreider truly don't help Nash but Nash does make their job a little easier.

Ok boys time to take whats ours!

Flip the bird, kick butt, or DIE LIKE VIKINGS!!!

What did I see?
Can I believe?
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy

We win 3 to 1
At Staple Center
And this saturday is really not just fantasy.

So just come on
and even out
this series before we take them down at Madison

On second thought
It must be game five
Or worst case game six at Staple again

What will we see?
Can we believe?
That what we see tonight is real and not just fantasy?

Couse it's ok
to take them out
in front of their own audience!

Because the numbers are
6-6-6 the Number of the Stanley
6-6-6 the one for you and me

And you can always celebrate in New York City and have a blast
Instead of game seven at home.
Please Hockey Gods let this come true

Well done Fred... Hope your fantasy become a reality.

BTW - I drove past Fredrikstad on my way to Nordby today. Have to pick up supplies for the celebration.:yo:

Decided to take the weekend away from Athens to see Rome. Went to the Vatican today. Saw the Sistine Chapel (saw some guy arrested for ignoring the security guards taking pictures in the chapel ) and even saw the Pope doing a presentation for some amateur athletes.

Now though, it's time for some NYR hockey. The game tonight has a chance to be by far the most memorable part of my day.

LGR.

Was watching the 94 finals on MSG before and Sam mentioned the Nucks had a hyperbaric chamber in their arena even back then. We looked tired the last half of game one against the Kings. I wonder if some time in a chamber would help us...

AV confirms Cam Talbot is not available to back up Henrik Lundqvist today..David LeNeveu again dresses as back up goalie #NYRCupFinal

Seriously, what is up with Cam???

The good news is that we played one of our worst games of the playoffs (certainly in terms of skating) IMO, and only lost in OT. The bad news is that the Kings size and system potentially prevents us from playing our style (speed, transition).

Looking forward to a different result tonight. LGR!

Kings as a team average only .5 inches taller than the Rangers. I think this whole size thing is blown out of proportion tbh.

Need all four lines to contribute tonight. The Brass line has been MIA the last few games, and Richards and Nash have to show up too. No more stopping when you can go to the net and PLEASE no more behind the back passes on the pp!

I have a pretty good feeling about this game.LGR!
