CK game is to be the last guy to touch the puck , Torts wants him first in on forecheck . It's a matter of out system not meshing with the kids talent . If he was in Detroit or Chi he'd be lighting it up .
I still think he played timid and ride t deserve minutes but its because he is being utilized wrong

To be fair he has gotten more of a legit chance. kreider hasnt gotten good icetime and he has played with some pretty bad lines. Look im not saying he has been great and i actually agreed with him going to the ahl( he has 5 pts in 5 games so far) but i just wish Torts can give the kid a legit chance because it could do wonders IMO

Oh no I totally agree with you. I think too because CK played in the post season that Torts may have already developed an opinion.

I agree. Its very tough to ask a kid who is an offensive talent to totally change into a defensive grinder. Miller is a grinder but he will never be a bigtime scorer he just doesnt seem to have that shot like kreider does
