The sheer amount of talent the Leafs have is intimidating af. But the Leafs have developed wingers like Knies, McMann, Bunting, Hyman, etc.,. It's easy to draft players in the top 10 and have talented guys on the roster but consistently developing forwardsto complement your skilled guys isn't easy.

The Avs are a very good team and have been, historically. I think they and the Stars are a lot alike and the league is more fun when they’re good. They’re the organization I think most highly of in the Central, outside of Dallas- and maybe the West. Definitely a Top 5 organization.

Unprecedented re-tool by the Capitals. Couple years ago, I would say they are cooked and just playing for Ovechkin to beat the record. Few great trades/signings like Thompson, Strome, Chychrun, Roy plus young guys like Protas, Fehervary, Leonard, Hutson and future is bright.
Now, all GMs think they can re-tool like that and avoid rebuilding as much as possible, see Pens.

As for the Blues, the last time they beat us in a series, they went all the way. And I'd be all in on them to do it again if we manage to lose.

Appreciate it, I think a lot of Devils fans wanted to see a big series from him and he was the best forward on the ice for NJ this series. Shame how ironically a blocked shot on the PK wound up being the decisive factor on the 4 min PP but heart and soul player.

For Carolina, I'd say their buy in to Rod as a coach. A lot of players come and go through Carolina but they still find a way to be the same stingy bastards they have been since Rod has gotten there. It's a testament to the belief they have him as a coach.

I think he was very over rated coming into the series. In that few days pre-series we had a ton of folks say Pinto was going to shutdown Matthews and Marner and Green has hard matched that and it hasn't worked at all

Has worked very well actually. Matthews and Marner have one goal each in the series.
