Say something nice about your favourite team's opponent

Montreal are complete idiots for letting go of Danault. He so underrated

I guess that as good as it gets in term of compliments, now f*** off LA ;)

They let Darius Kasparitis, Rich Pilon, Pat Flatley and Pat Lafontaine play for them after we moved on from them as players.

I like Pinto, underrated two-way C who plays hard and would be a valuable asset to any team.

I think he was very over rated coming into the series. In that few days pre-series we had a ton of folks say Pinto was going to shutdown Matthews and Marner and Green has hard matched that and it hasn't worked at all

Ottawa drafting Stutzle and Sanderson within the first five picks of the 2020 draft is disgusting. They're going to be so good for so long.

Ovechkin is an ageless wonder. I'm one year younger than him and what he's doing is f***ing inspiring lol

I was a doubter of the Caps, but I have to say, they'll be tough to stop. They have a good mix of older talents and young guns, and they are really physical.

They are one of the few teams I'd be ok if they win it all

Seriously this f***ing guy

Breaks his leg and comes back on a mission to break the NHL goal scoring record

I sneezed while tying my laces last night before my beer league game and I can barely sit up at my desk today

For the LA Kings I have a couple:

1. Kings fans are pretty chill for the most part. No cringey videos of Kings fans yelling “**** McDavid!”, and seem approachable and easy to talk to.

2. Our franchises are very historically intertwined, and I find that pretty interesting. I have more respect than hate for the Kings. They would have to do some extremely egregious for me to hate them, like injure one of our star players.

to 1: when they caught him walking outside the arena the other night they were chanting "We want Skinner" to him so it's not all sunshine I guess

to 2: amen. I said it elsewhere but there are some real longtime fans of both teams that seem to have a sense of perspective and history beyond just the last 3-4 years, it's crazy to think about how long this has been going on even if it's not a traditional 'rivalry' of hatred like MTL/BOS or something.

Jets have a great team. A knowledgeable, passionate, all around good fanbase. And a good color scheme.

If we don't win, I'd be pretty happy if they do.

Tom Wilson would be a great actor. Could win best supporting actor in a drama series.

Jokes aside, Capitals are a very well coached team and Spencer Carbery looks like money. Happy to face them and for them to bring it to the Habs.

I love that Caps team. That's the kind of team I like to cheer for. It's a really good spectacle so far!

I would take Wilson on the Habs 11 times out of 10! (Ovy too while you're at it)

I of course am hoping for the Cinderella run, but I will gladly cheer for the Caps if they dispose of the underdog Habs!

Well l've always liked the Caps, Ovi will always be one of my favorite players, I'm a fan of Wilson as long as he's not trying to injure.

I mostly hate every other team in the east so I'll root for them if them beat the Habs

  • As an Oilers fans Kempe gives me literal nightmares. Filthy filthy player. And every year in the playoffs.
  • Also seeing Byfield grow from being a liability and getting healthy scratched in the earlier series to what he is now is evidence of a great hockey organization. He wasn't rushed. He was not thrown away when things got tough for him. They stuck with him
  • Kings are a good deep team. I would be surprised if we can make is past the Kings even with the win tonight. We got a few too many holes and the Kings have filled the holes they did have.

I really like the Habs future, some truly good players right now and so many of them have a lot more upside to become even better. In 2 years they're gonna be a top team in the league.
