I have faith in this team. We've come back from multi goal deficits before including game 2 vs the Islanders.

I know the Rangers aren't the Islanders but anything is possible.

Folks, it's one period and it's game 1. The first period of game 1 does not decide a series.

If anything the Canes got punched in the gut and the Rangers play right now may be a wakeup call.

Plenty of time to get back into this one. They need to find a way to throw the Rags off their game.

Problem is they’re a pretty well balanced and well coached team, much like the Hurricanes.

I do believe the Rags have an edge in the physicality department with a coach and captain that encourages a more physically aggressive style of play. If the Canes try and match their physicality it likely starts a parade to the penalty box.
