Core 4 + Rielly doesn't need Dubas to exist.

Bertuzzi, domi, Gregor, Benoit, lagesson...the vision around the core is now more Trelivings than it is Dubas. And it's only been a couple months into the season with a new GM.

Dubas does deserve credit for leaving behind knies etc., but he was here for what, 7 years ? So the total sum of what he left behind for us is pathetic. Any GM would have some positives in the lineup after that much time.

I'm just saying, that the starting lineup that Treliving envisioned didn't include either player... The starting D was Rielly, Brodie, McCabe, Liljegren, Gio, Klingberg... Those guys were 7/8 on the depth chart.

Been pleasant surprises, they signed the best depth for D like we did the year before... not sure they will be playing come playoffs, but maybe they will, we have a lot of third pairing guys, and it's a nice issue to have.
