Sarnia Sting 2024 25 Season Thread Part Iii

What @Jason M said about Letang honestly feels right. This team played their ass off last week in Barrie. it was an awesome effort start to finish. I was legitimately impressed with their game.

Skip ahead a week vs a Windsor team who was clearly going thru the motions & also down Greentree, Belchetz, Mathurin & this game wasn't remotely close.

The team looked defeated at puck drop. In a huge game for them.

Meanwhile OS is fighting tooth and nail every night. Same with SSM. Hell even Guelph who's out has won two in a row vs FLT/ER.

Screw wanting a top pick, this team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs. Embarrassing product since February started.

LOL. holy smokes.... this team really isn't going to make the playoffs... Theres nothing more you can really say at this point. I'm sure Seca's end of year press conference will be all smiles and reassurances that this is the plan and Letang is the man for the job.....People in the organization need to start getting mad because this is b.s..... No one ever shows emotion and there is never a sense of urgency. Letang talks like he's dead inside and doesn't think there is a problem, Seca talks like a delusional politician and Legwand doesn't say anything. I bet if you asked both Seca and Letang if they are doing a good job they both would say yes. Pathetic. I don't think I've ever disliked a Sting leadership group more than this one and that's saying something.

Frankly hoping we lose tonight & Owen Sound wins. Get this over with. Don't drag it out to Sunday. Obviously we'd need an OS win @ KIT which is unlikely especially with them starting their backup after George played so well vs Barrie (already confirmed he's off vs kit and in vs gue) but it's what I want.

After what we saw vs Windsor though I am not sure how this team wins a game vs any team. The lack of intensity, compete, urgency was shocking for a team tied for 8th.

Hopefully this is the final home game of the 2024-2025 Sarnia Sting.

Well didn't see Di iorio or Edward's tonight with much jam either tonight thing I don't understand is how bad top D can Be in a due or die game. Sorry but I don't see much anymore in Fischer or Young just lack of accountability and Lack of coaching has pushed them into mediocrity in this league when, should be way more. Where did Beamish go? As I have said players come in playing well then it takes time for Letang to change them and make them stale and play different. Just don't understand how this happens, attitude just must trickle down to ruin play.
if Fischer is our Best D we are below average team at best. Until there is coaching this team has declined continually since Nov, bit of a pick up in early January after Haley fired but Letang quickly turned his coaching game back to Terrible where he feels comfortable. Some players are leaders and some arenr some players become smart coaches most don't. Some GMs can hire coaches that can help bring oit what GM sees and some can't see their fingers past their elbows. Pretty sure we have those things here in Sarnia and I'm not looking forward to same things next year. If DS doesn't fire Letang and jefferies this organization is Doomed.

“…average team at best”? You’re a 9th place team. You are what your record says you are 65+ games in. You’re a well below average team. It’s not a small same size.

OS doesn't technically need to win. They just need to get a point and for us to lose.

I'm not sure if a lot of people know this but the Sting changed their practice times this season from early afternoon (around 2pm) to early morning (around 9am). The few players I talked to about it did not like the change. It would be interesting to see what times other teams practice at. 9am seems strange because of all the players in school. Plus anyone with a kid knows how teenagers are in the morning lol

Still missing big names. No Clattenburg, Konyen, Collins, Mania, Smith, Lombardi & the backup is starting.

It's a lineup the Sting *should* beat, but as we know nothing is guaranteed with this team.

Not sure I get it from FLTs side with SSM having a chance to catch them.

Can't make it up. 11-12-25 is reunited at L1. Karimov to L4 with Hall and Manza.

Edwards to the wing with Di Iorio and Moses.

Omeri 2nd pair while Bridgewater sits again

Get.

That pretty much the same lineup Flint had last time when they beat us 6-2.

This actually doesn't surprise me because everything about this year has been backwards.
