Think on other side here buzz is a confident group and we get Surzycia back to stealing games for his last start was bit rocky. Anyway he is going to be back and ready still battling for NCAA options and D have been playing solid when Letang gets his head out of his ass and plays 72 6 together and scratches 9 just isn't better option than 16 and 43.
Anyway we didnt have franchesschetti vs windsor last game and that should get some energy and distraction in this game.
Big game tonight from 17 12 and 25.
40 back should help 23 and 11 get something going.

I wonder what round the sting will take legwands son Ryder in this upcoming draft. He plays for little Caesar’s, I wonder if this will be legwands last year coaching the team, he has been coaching his son the last 3 years, 13U 14U and now 15U, and this years team is absolutely dominant one of the best in North America. Maybe legwand hop’s back on the stings bench next year as an assistant or takes Letang’s spot as head coach. That way he will be around the team more and have a more hands on role. Should be a solid coach after being a head coach and developing young players for a very good program with little Caesar’s, he was solid as an associate coach with the sting before. Or maybe he will stay coaching little Caesar’s to help get guys to come to the sting. Either way he’s made a good impression and now has solid contacts with little Caesar’s moving forward. I just hope he doesn’t give ice time to his son over players that are better than him. I don’t know if Ryder is going to be a top, middle or late prospect for the draft.

Question for those who may know - I just saw on Twitter that Carter Kostuch is out for the season with an injury. Looking around a bit, something to do with his eye?! Any idea what happened? That's some scary stuff.

Mews (OTT) went to clear the puck on the PK & his follow thru on the clear went right into Kostuch's eye with a lot of force behind it.

He spent time at Toronto sick kids hospital.

An incredibly flukey play which makes it that much worse for Carter. Just hoping there isn't long-term effects for him off the ice.

Damn, that's awful :( Reminds me a bit of former Spitfire Chris Van Dyke; had a similar eye issue during the game. That was back in Dec. 1995, the story is still somewhat available online. Hopefully Kostuch has a full recovery with no long-term effects. It's scary how quickly stuff can change your path.

Not exactly the start you're looking for but WSR is really good and they're coming off a let-down game vs SAG .... I really like Nesbitt's game im glad he took the next step and will for sure be a first round pick imo. Maybe Buzz should have taken him.... who knows.

Brown looks damn good too tbf.

And last thing we need is another C. If we take him maybe we don't take the gamble on Edwards.

But yah he looks great. Big kid. Good skill. Some snarl. Skating needs work if he wants to be an NHLer but ways to go for that.

I hope like hell your thought of Legwand taking over for Letang doesn't come true. Just what the OHL needs, another nepotistic coach. The Sting's already been down that path.

Well got those 2 quick ones on the major, but really needed a 3rd to make this a game.

Maillet in now. Tell ya what if he has a strong 3rd & plays well tomorrow (if he starts) it might be time to give him a chance at being the starter for a couple weeks.

Well that was a dud. They looked brutal most of the night. Not much energy, passing was bad, way to many penalties. Just a bad night.

They were due. Throw it in the garbage & bounce back tomorrow vs PBO!

Legwands kid's stats are not great last I checked. Would be a stretch if he was in the O next year but you never know. Me, personally I'd love to see Legwand behind the bench.

While Sarnia definitely laid an egg tonight, you saw why Windsor is the team I'd wanna play less between them & KIT..

We wouldn't beat Kitchener, but we matchup better IMO. They don't overpower you, or overwhelm you with elite size/skill.

Windsor is a terrible matchup for a super young team. All that size & power we simply cant handle it when they are on. Fischer can, but it's a tough task for Hurt who's 17, Bridgewater who's smaller & 17, Bodin who lacks speed. Even Young is a bit more slight of a guy than overly physical. Up front we have so many U17s playing big roles that physically cant matchup with guys like Protas, Greentree, Nesbitt, Spellacy etc.

It's just a tall order for a young group to handle it & we saw it in the 3rd last meeting & tonight. Still 3 more games against them. See if they can make any adjustments for those.

Mightily important Sarnia throws this game out & gets back into form vs PBO. Simply cant lose to non playoff teams if they want any chance at finishing above 7th. PBO is one of the leagues worst teams but they bring a good effort as shown by only losing 3-1 to LDN & ending Cowan's streak.

Get this W then have another winnable game vs GUE in a couple days before another tough trip to WSR.

I'd like to see Maillet start. Came in & stopped 27/29 for another great showing which makes it 5 straight strong efforts out of him. Ride the hot hand.
