I doubt that 4th line sees much ice. 2 rooks & Sim. Letang ain't playing that more than 5 shifts lol.

Absolutely no way that is a 5 minute major. What a horrific call. Thats 2 guy battling for a puck & Wainwright was stronger & Leonard goes down awkwardly. now we are without our 1C the rest of night. Obviously hope Leonard is alright, but that's bad. Cant call penalties because of the outcome. If his wrist didn't get jammed they wouldn't of called it let alone a 5.

So now our 4 usual Cs & top pair are all out lol. Absurd. Gotta minimize the damage on this joke of a major.

Issues now is they played L4 1 shift. U can't run 8Fs all night. Gonna have to play those guys more & the 1 shift they got they didn't touch the puck.

Gonna have 1 guy who actually has played C left in Filak.

But I agree. Their 1sts recently have been horrendous.

Jeez where the heck was Omeri going on that goal. Young/Filak already in the battle don't need to leave the front of the net to join in. Completely leaves McCue who scores.

4 straight games where we've given up a 5 on 3. Also 4 straight games of giving up a delay of game penalty. Gotta stay the hell outta the box.

That's a pathetic call on Franceshcetti. After OS has had 4 straight PPs.

Nah this is fricken brutal. Kostuch hit from behind again. No call. But Sarnia cant do ANYTHING without being called. Clear cut icing on OS PP not called leads to a near goal. Puck is loose so Franceschetti stabs at it & he gets slashing.

An absolute circus.

Annnnd Karimov giveth & taketh away. Scores a nice goal then a brutal, brutal turnover with under 15 seconds left & they tie it. A horrible goal to give up & is the exact reason why Letang has been hesitant to give him T6 minutes.

Omeri again also for no reason dashed for the middle completely leaving his side where the goal was scored. Been his worst game of the year.

It was probably a penalty, but when the other team can seemingly do no wrong it's absolutely maddening.

3 guys jump on Simpson. It's offsetting minors lmfao.

I hate to complain like this, but seriously one of the most one sided reffed games I've seen recently. 17 PP mins to 2 tonight. In a close checking, tight game.

First & foremost, they did not play a good game tonight. Did not generate anywhere near enough vs a rookie goalie who's struggled. Defensively way to many great looks. But that game was an absolute joke. Even the linesman were fricken horrible. draw on 4-2 goal Moses wasn't even set yet when they dropped it. kicked out someone every draw it felt like

Lose our 1C in the 1st on a garbage call. Never got any momentum because every 2 minutes we got sent to the box while OS could do 0 wrong all night. A completely maddening, awful game to watch on so many levels. Had never seen either of those guys ref a game before & I hope it's the last time I ever do.

Also a game that showcases the leadership out of the lineup because Fischer, Wainwright, Bodin maybe calm things down a bit. Even Di Iorio/Edwards are very calm players. They clearly got frustrated by the reffing & stopped playing their game.

That was probably our last shot at a win on this road trip from hell where what can go wrong, probably will. Let's just hope they don't lose even more guys by the end of the stupid trip.

I'll say I think alot of it has been guys being thrown into spots they aren't ready for. These delay of game penalties are because of panic plays. Fischer, Bodin, Di Iorio, Edwards, Wainwright (tonight) probably don't make those errors.

Same with some D getting caught then having to take penalties, or getting stuck out for to long then taking a tired penalty.

All things that stem from missing your top 2D & 2 of your best Fs.

But they've also taken some really dumb penalties that hasnt helped & those need to be cleaned up.

Surzycia was outstanding tonight. Been a great first 15 starts for him.

Let's hope Karimov has gotten his US visa by now too! My god if he can't go to ER & SAG in the next week we will be down another pivotal player.

Absolutely hate his turnover tonight that tied the game, but great to see the 2 goals. Both nice ones too.

He's a fun player. Got a lot to learn. But once he learns what he can & can't do he'll be a good one. Nice set of skills, very strong on the puck & always gives 100%

Losing wainwright affected the teams effort tonight think he is the Real Captain/leader of this group as StingUpdates said the straw that stirs this teams drink. Showed alot different team without him that's forsure. That was a penalty called by a linesman who has skated his 1st game, what a way to start your OHL career making that call when 2 refs didn't even have a penalty on that play. Wainwright just stronger than leonard and won the battle for a loose puck. Anyway karimov played a good game other than a giveaway, but I'll take his 2 goals tonight over that giveaway. Those 3 goals in 2 games will give him confidence and that's what we need. Playing with wainwright has sparked his game it looks like, maybe it's from skating at practice with him. Brown seems to be skating better as well with Wainwright than was with previous linemates which are all good signs. Think Doucette is way too quiet and needs to get consistant not really generating much this year.
Surzycia is a beast I'd put him top 5 goalie in league after 15 starts and continually keep us in games. Barr bridgwater anderson and omeri all playing more minutes than ready for but have been forced to step up and have done pretty good other than Delay of game penalties and panic plays at times and losing their man out front by watching and chasing play. That's all youth and inexperience.
Get wainwright back and regroup after a terrible call and good effort in Niagara like we played them last time.

Seen few NCAA recruiters/coaches at game last night. The vote is today, so let's hope rules get put in place for CHL contracts to keep players til 20 to protect our players.
LONDON gets a Wisconsin commited player who was in the USHL playing, guess London has inside information to entice top players.with knowing the vote before today(get ahead of everyone).
Maybe Kosiba comes by Christmas too? Hopefully we can entice some players to come that can still go to NCAA after they play for us.

I understand this season , No Russian based players are allowed to play stateside.
Last weekend Rafik Varosyan had to sit out games in Michigan.

This ins't entirely true. Both countries have their own Visa requirements Gleb Semenov Knights import selection has his US Visa and is playing in the USHL not sure if he has secured Canadian Visa yet or not...

Although who knows maybe the US Government also favours the Knights
