We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.

This has gotta be the first time ever where the lines have been the exact same for 2 games in a row...I hate manza being on line 4... it should be Doucette.... I don't even know if Doucette has a point in his last 20 games.
Imagine being Brown Di Iorio, Beamish, Karimov, Manza last night at the end of the game when Letang had Filak Wainwright Doucette Edwards Fischer on the ice with the net empty.
Not mad with the other guys, but Doucette. What a spit int he face to the guys I listed to have him out there over them. He has completely checked out on them after committing to NCAA. He should've been benched & scratched weeks ago yet he plays massive amounts every night with 0 accountability while Manza & Karimov take turns being benched or demoted for seemingly nothing.
im ok with Brown or Di Lorio not being not he ice for the empty net ... both have been ghosts the last 5-7 games. I know we disagree on brown but he's in one of those big slumps for the 3rd or 4th time this year where he does absolutely nothing for the entire game. 38 games this year Brown doesn't have a point.... That's not great. That being said doucette has been a ghost for the last 20 games and shouldn't touch the ice in big situations. Karimovs draft stock is in the shitter all because Allan Letang lol ... imagine that.
even if they are slumping (they are) I'd rather win or lose because of them than an OA who isn't doing anything for them.
Well, that was the best hockey this team has played id say since the first game of FEB vs Erie. that was a 60 minute effort vs a division winner with championship aspirations. Played simple, hard & won battles. Would love to know where that's been the last 20 games.
Wainwright & Filak have finally woken up this weekend. 81-40-24 have been really strong for them. 8-10-55 has done good things, too. Manza should def be playing more. Maillet was unreal. Some of those flurries of saves were crazy! Wish somebody, anybody would've helped the kid out on the tying goal or the winning goal...
In a shocking turn of events 23-17-25 have done nothing. Who would've thought forming a line where the LW/C showed previously they didnt work together & a RW who's quit on the season would go poorly!! I am utterly stunned it hasn't worked! Pure incompetence.
Not sure I have ever seen a team be worse for choking late leads & then losing in OT. Thats gotta be the 6-7-8 time its happened. One of the many reasons this team is sitting in 9th. Gotta love starting 11-12 who get hemmed in, 25 subs on & then 11/25 stand there as BAR scores the winner.
Once again we lose in OT with Edwards, Di Iorio, Brown, Karimov, Manza, Beamish not getting a shift.. Outright comical.

Cant help but notice this was one of are better efforts in awhile. And Letang was not on the bench. They said he wasn't feeling well seemed fine last night. Wonder if something else is going on cause I don't really belive that excuse.
I really don't see any reason for them to lie at this point of the season. Probably felt a little sick & they played it safe because the team getting sick right now would be worst case scenario for them lol.
if games were 55 minutes Sarnia would be in 6th. This like the 5th or 6th game they have gagged away late. Why cant Sarnia come up with these efforts at home.... I will say Wainwright seems like a great face-off guy... every time I check he's well over 50 percent. Doucette has seemingly mailed it in. The guys probably going to be -30 when the season is over.... Buzz biggest problems this year have been Special teams, giving up unanswered goals and end of game/periods and overtime... imo that can be cleaned up. As I said... buzz should be in 6th.
Well they said before the game he wasn't there because he wasn't feeling well. And I never saw him on the TV but I saw the other 2. Maybe I missed him somehow.
Imagine they close out half the games they've choked. That's an extra 4-8 points.
Imagine their PP was even just 18.5%. imagine their PK was even just 80%.
Safe to say this team would easily have 7-12 more wins.
That's not even mentioning how bad their lows have been (2-18 in OCT NOV), & the last 15-20 games. If they could've just made those bumps instead of colossal slides they'd have a couple more wins.
Imagine if Letang didn't have his biases towards guys who haven't done anything for them in 2025 while productive U17s sit.
Remarkable just how many points they've thrown away this year. Literally might be the difference between 6th & on ERs heels for 5th to 9th & out of the playoffs.
From everything im reading this was one of the better buzz efforts of the season. If Letang wasn't there that is a huge indictment on him. Power play gets a Gino and zero penalties. Obviously we're not there but this may have been the teams way of saying screw Letang let's give er while he's not here. Maybe some freedom for some guys too. Hopefully the organization can see that a new direction is needed and they got a preview tonight.... all that being said ill look stupid if it turns out he was there lol.

According to a couple ppl on the Sting Facebook page Letang is actually in the hospital.
I have obviously disliked how he's handled many things this year, but never wanna hear that! Hopefully everything is alright & he is out of there tomorrow or on Monday.

Personally if I was going to get the 7th/8th/9th seed I’m taking the 9th every time and getting a chance at that #1 overall spot in the draft rather than 4-5 lopsided games. Everyone has a different opinion however.

Agreed don't like to hear that. Hopefully he'll be OK.
A month ago wouldn't of been a question. 7th. Actually 6th but they blew that.
Now? Absolutely 9th. Especially when it's Windsor and London at 1-2. If it weren't 2 absolute powerhouses, esp LDN id maybe say make it but yah, it would be a sweep & 8-1 every night.
Really solid effort tonight, played majority of game at playoff pace. Maillet was solid made some unbelievable saves. Just again coaches don't call timeout with 1 min 30 left even to settle and let young guys know what's happening. Just didn't get puck out last minute and puck goes in net for the tie
