You know the drill. Age cutoff 25, NHL games played cutoff 40. Poll will close after 2 days unless the results are incredibly lopsided. Last year's rankings will be in parentheses.

1. Macklin Celebrini ~95% (NR)
2. Will Smith ~90% (#1)
3. Sam Dickinson ~95% (NR)
4. Quentin Musty ~49% (#3)
5. Shakir Mukhamadullin ~77% (#4)
6. Igor Chernyshov ~39% (NR)
7. Filip Bystedt ~34% (#5)
8. David Edstrom ~54% (NR)
9. Kasper Halttunen ~69% (#11)
10. Ty "The Prospect" Emberson ~26% (NR)
11. Daniil Gushchin ~23% (#8)
12. Collin Graf ~37% (NR)
13. Luca Cagnoni ~38% (#12)
14. Eric Pohlkamp ~45% (NR)
15. Leo Sahlin Wallenius ~52% (NR)

I really, really want to vote Roberts because homerism, but realistically I don't think I can pass up Cardwell just on the basis of him being close to being able to contribute something at the NHL level while Roberts is still a year or two away from us knowing if he'll be anything as a pro.

Wetsch seems like the safest bet to play 200+ games even if it's only as a fourth line wing.

I went upside and I think that is Rimashevsky. He has the upside of a second line power forward. I don’t think he will hit but it is higher upside than any of the others on the list save for maybe the goalies but that is more of a crapshoot anyways.

I almost think goalies should be separate as it’s hard to know where to place them.

I went with Furlong. Don’t think he has the most upside but 1.5 way D that can play either side? Think that’d be pretty cool on our team.

1.5 way cause he’s more defensive leaning but can play the puck not like a grenade.

Considering we are in the late teens on the prospect rankings, who is a player that you feel could surprise us from our pool?
Svoboda has had some real momentum this last year. Looks like he could be a real nice bottom 6er if he can get some more consistent offense goin

Does Egor count? I think he left the country and didn't want to sign with the Sharks.

Very convincing argument! I voted Roberts based on it.

The team.still.has his rights until he's 28 and I think that gives them a window of a year between his khl deal expiring and his rights lapsing where they can convince him to return. It's a long shot but who knows what happens between now and then. And if it works he's an intriguing set of attributes.

Those percentages are always interesting. Can interpret them as the tier breaks to us fans. For example, these would be in the same tier:
  • Musty & Mukmahdullin
  • Chernyshov, Bystedt, Edstrom and Haltunnen
  • Emberson, Gushchin, Graf, Cagnoni, Pohlkamp, Wallenius - Looks like Cardwell is also joining this one.

Why do you think he'd be a power forward? It doesn't really sound like he has a hard game.
