Pohlkamp appears to be a darling of the data and eye tests. Cagnoni appears to fail the latter.

Cardwell seems poised to breakout as a solid fourth-liner, but given the Sharks logjam I fear he'll never get his shot.

So to be clear, you’re watching a lot of Cagnoni play in the WHL then?

To be clear, I've seen my fair share as well as have a very good friend who is a season ticket holder whose opinion I highly value.

But if you want to co-sign that foolish comment I was responding to, by all means, go for it.

This is such a lazy take. He just had a very good season so opinions may have changed. I’m genuinely curious if there are recent quotes from scouts talking about Cagnoni.
He had a very good season the year he was drafted too. Still fell to the 4th round.

The Sharks do have a really interesting pool of prospects now. Bystedt, Eklund, Celebrini, Smith, Chernysov, Mukhamadullin, Askarov, Guschin, Halttunen. Could end up being a contender in a couple of years only.

The franchise with the most Russian prospects perhaps?
