Proposal: San Jose - Nashville, for a friend

Sharks shouldn’t think about trading their 1st round pick until they know it’s not going to get them Bedard but they probably shouldn’t pass up the chance to draft any of Fantilli, Michkov, or Carlsson either.
 
If the sharks trade their 2023 1st for Fabbro… even with a Nashville first attached…

San Jose is rolling some incredibly stupid dice.

Bedard has more goals, more assists and basically twice the total points of Logan Cooley (recent 3rd overall pick and 2nd leading scorer at the WJC).

If a lottery team trades their 2023 1st round pick prior to the lottery drawing, that GM needs to be launched into outer space without a space suit.

Oh I agree. You said rolling some really stupid dice. I said it would be them trying to 13 when the highest they could get is 12. I agreed with you.
 
This is the most tone deaf proposal I've ever seen. Imagine thinking San Jose would trade their pick period let alone before the draft lottery.
