Sammy, Robertson and Benoit were excellent tonight. Everyone else was shite. Special mention to Brodie and Liljegren who tried their best to gave it away.

Tavares' best game in weeks and weeks. f*** all productivity, but some shots hit the net.

Don’t forget Marner, he was brutal

Really didn’t like Liljegren and Marner in OT. Liljegren made a spin o rama play just past the blueline. Completely zero reward high danger play in the third. Then exited his zone in OT, did the little hip pivot and dropped it all the way back instead of feeding the forward ahead of him. Marner with the little regroup at center ice, skating backwards at 1 km/h with a forecheck. Poor Sammy and what he had to work with.

It's not that the fans dont' root for him, it's his own players

When you go throug a bad stretch as a goalie and you see that as a team mate, you do everything you can do bail him out. You block shots, clear the net, clear the front

Just saw Sammy's post game interview—talking about the crowd chanting his name, making him emotional. Can't help but root for this guy.

His skating isn't even that big of a issue.

Makes alot of good, short little low risk passes, plays excellent positional defence, takes the body everytime the hit is there, is strong in front of his net and will drop the gloves.

I'm starting to think he's actually better than guys like Schenn or Lybushkin but he needs to continue playing like this.

This was Liljegren most bizarre game when it came to decision making. And he's generally not upper echelon in that regard to begin with.

I can’t believe we won that one. So many low effort guys out there. Robertson had a great game. Sammy, feel great for the guy, he needed that. Only reason we won was those two guys.

You tell someone who missed the game that Samsonov stopped a shorthanded two person breakaway and they'll picture a desperate rush with chasing Leafs, not two Jets standing on the edge of the crease passing it back and forth.

One of the plays of the season, especially in a game that went 0-0 to overtime.

He benched the #1 PP unit for the entire PP. He also double shifted Robertson in the 3rd

Samsonov wins a goaltending duel. Hard game to watch but they actually won a 1-0 game against pretty good Jets team. Killed off the dreaded 4:3 in OT, Matthews clutch again and Robertson had a great shift there. Standing O for Sammy.

He's played more games for the Leafs than Lybushkin and Schenn (2nd go around) and has looked steady in all of them.

Samsonov truly deserved that shutout but the rest of the team, I dunno... Guess you just take the two points and never talk about it again...

I see a bunch of people commenting like we stole a game here. We didn’t. Both teams kinda stunk offensively tonight. Goalies were good. Just a slow, plodding, game.

1st was terrible, Sammy kept us in it. We were a bit better overall the rest of the way though neither was good lol. I’d say the lopsided PP opportunities skewed the game in our favour, but the PP was awful so….

A win is a win but this team is in a terrible spot in a lot of different ways, from special teams to overall consistency. I can only hope they'll trend upwards at the right time but right now it's rough.

Robertson played a career high tonight and he needs to be played like that more often.

I was at the game and even before the big 2 on nothing saves, the crowd was already getting behind Sammy pretty well. It was pretty nice to see.

That would be great for the Jets; you don't win many games playing like that. Samsonov was obviously really good.

With Scheifele, Vilardi, Morrissey and Helle in the lineup I don't think it's close though
