It's a meme. Don't ruin it.I don’t think so. Not this year. They have a great team. They have a shot to take down any team in the West. And Leafs are below the Jets in the standings. This loss was on the players who couldn’t finish a 2 on 0 against freaking Samsonov.
Can we stop this arrogance? Beating the Leafs is nobody's "Stanley Cup"It's their Stanley Cup.
I will be surprised if he is a Leaf after the deadline.Robertson is a stud.
They would be silly to trade himI will be surprised if he is a Leaf after the deadline.
Now that would be a gutsy moveDo we trade Samsanov now that he’s rebounding and value might have increased?? lol

Jimmy Hughson also said "there is nothing better than beating the Toronto Maple Leafs on a Saturday night" doing PBP.nope - the amount of hatred and glee when something goes wrong for the Leafs, absolutely warrants this kind of comment, as well their own fearless leader Scheifele said "Nothing like beating the Leafs"
Screw that, we always get every Canadian team's Sunday best when they play us, spurred on by their petty fanbase.
Would like to see two things change in the NHL, but it never will:It can be argued that we played without a couple of our stars as well, particularly Marner, Rielly, Tavares and Nylander.
He would have to be a part of a bigger package. He wouldn’t bring much by himself. They would be silly to trade him
The Owners won't allow #1 and the Players won't allow #2.Would like to see two things change in the NHL, but it never will:
1) have a salary cap like the NBA does, where a team can go over it but will have to pay a luxury tax
2) have player contracts like the NFL:
Every NFL player who is on a team's roster during the year will earn a base salary divided up into 18 installments. That covers the 17-game schedule and the bye week which make up the season. If a player gets cut during the season, the bulk of the money they expected to earn gets lost unless they have a guarantee.
I get that Canadians in general have a negative opinion about Toronto , but let’s be real, when it comes to hockey, the Leafs they are historically the worst franchise in the NHL.Can we stop this arrogance? Beating the Leafs is nobody's "Stanley Cup"
Yea, that's how the room would look after actually winning the Stanley Cup.Winnipeg begs to differ.
You should tell Scheifele that they should have trashed the room after screaming "VICTORYYYYYY" down the hallway, saying that "there's nothing better than beating the Leafs", and cheering, yelling, and flailing their arms in the air, before they went to go get, and I quote, "****ed up".Yea, that's how the room would look after actually winning the Stanley Cup.
If you had the scouting report on Sammy (maybe omitting the Seattle game) wouldn't you be shooting from everywhere as often as possible? They are very strong in some areas but man do they lack any kind of offensive creativity. They just fired pucks at the net from anywhere and everywhere often when there was nobody in front for a rebound and often from very low danger areas. I dont watch the jets enough to know if this is what they always do but they were boring as F. imo.
or at least have the rest of room look they were even mildly excited about the winning "their Stanley Cup"You should tell Scheifele that they should have trashed the room after yelling "VICTORYYYYYY" down the hallway, saying that "there's nothing better than beating the Leafs", and cheering, yelling, and flailing their arms in the air, before they went to go get, and I quote, "****ed up".
Is it really though? He did nothing all game and scored on 3 v 3 when Robertson did all the work, seems like common senseTrue captain behaviour by Matthews
Our Selke winner with 4 of the 8 giveaways by the forwards.Quite a discrepancy in giveaways and takeaways,
Winnipeg gave it away 5 times but took it away 14 times
Meanwhile we gave it away 17 times and took it away 8 times
No idea how we won, lol!

I guess you didn't see the game or the video. Oh, there was plenty of excitement.or at least have the rest of room look they were even mildly excited about the winning "their Stanley Cup"
