Robertson has a 46G+63A=109P season under his belt already, so I don’t think characterizing him as a very dependent complementary player is accurate. I think Robo is the better player offensively, but the gap would be more pronounced if Robo was utilized like other first liners in the league.

I'm not going to say Robertson is better defensively obviously but you make it sound like he's trash when he was #13 in selke voting last year; It's closer than you're saying here. Going the other way, skating is not exactly what Robertson is known for
