Sam Reinhart game misconduct knee on knee hit to Lundestrom

That reverse angle is just ugly, hope Lundestrom is okay because a knee is not supposed to look like that.

I'd expect this kind of hit from the other Sam, not Reinhart. Everything about the hit was destined to fail from the get go, really odd as you don't see this type of stuff from him ever.

Guessing Lundestrom has a significant injury...should be 5+ games suspension, right? Obvious and deliberate causing an injury.

Wheel of Justice says 2 games.

Not usually his game, so giving Reino the benefit of the doubt that it was more a mistake than straight malice.
I don't think he intended to make the kind of contact he made. I think he was intent on making contact, misjudged how fast Lundestrom was going to slip past and stuck the knee out when he got a visual sense that he might miss Lundestrom with the hit.

I don't think what he did was malicious but reckless/careless.

So no hearing for this after McDavid gets one for a simple cross check. Totally not a rigged league, amirite?
Lmao. I hadn't seen what McDavid did until just now. Reinhart probably deserves a game but there's so much more intent behind what McDavid did. I haven't endeavored to read that thread but I don't even want to hear about Garland's height. McDavid knew exactly what he was doing. For Reinhart, he deserves to sit a game or two for the recklessness of it and the injury, at least based on the standards we're working with, but McDavid definitely unquestionably earned his hearing and absolutely deserves to sit a game or two.

Let's see how Panthers fans respond to this thread compared to how they responded in the Tkachuk thread.
Ok? Absolutely a boneheaded play by Reino, but lets not pretend like he is some goon who's goal is to injure other players. I'd like to know what was the thought process behind that move, or more like why did he not think anything.

another classless act by the Goonthers pardoned by the corrupt NHL

Where Canada's hero, McJesus is being held on 47 felony counts for Garlands face egregiously hitting his poor stick
