he either forces the guy to take a huge hit or trip on the knee. Unfortunately it was even worse than both and was a knee on knee contact.

Now I haven't seen enough of Reinhart to say he is or isn't dirty, but I'd make him sit for a game or two for just a stupid decision

Stuff happens fast and doubt he was attempting to injure, more like a desperation move to slow him down. Should be a 1 game suspension I would guess. He doesn't have history so he'll get a light punishment.

Reino isn’t Tkachuk or Bennett, he doesn’t play that game. It’s an unfortunate hit, he’s probably getting a game because there was an injury.

It's what the Panthers are coached to do. They get no coverage the NHL just lets them do it. No Canadian team has players throwing knees and elbows for 3 years without a peep.

Games like this make it obvious to me, that zellwegger lack of size would be a major problem in a tough 7 game playoff series. And that luckily we have guys Solberg and Luneau who are larger and very talented coming up in the pipeline

Can't really remember if there was a chant but I know most of us on the Ducks board immediately recognized it was a bad hit and a deserved major/misconduct.

Either way, the bigger issue than crowd reaction is that this was a bad hit and hopefully Lundestrom is okay.
