This is why NHL has 3 stars of the week.
He is playing awesome right now.
He is playing awesome right now.
The Sabres are the best developmental team in the NHL.
He's not a Toronto Maple LeafI don’t understand… he signed his big contract already why is he still trying?
He has cold stretches, this year it’s early.
Not worried about him at all. He always comes through, especially in the playoffs.
He was already that in BuffaloMaurice has molded Reinhart into a 2 way 200ft stud. I doubt Reinhart repeats his 57 goal season though.
I think most Sabres fans wanted Sam signed here. But because of a 2 bridge deals and a lack of commitment (should’ve signed him long term the second time around) he wanted to move on somewhere else and the Sabres moved him. Most of our board is happy to see him have success.I'm not surprised at how he's performed in Florida. Reinhart has one of the best hockey IQs in the league--you could see that in his time with Buffalo (and even before he was drafted)--and he was getting better every year. This is just a natural continuation of his progression as a player.
Gave them Montour for peanuts, too. I'll assume Mittelstadt will be a top 10 player very soon also if the ex-Sabre trend continues. As a Sabres/Ducks fan, I've been in hockey hell for far too long. Must have done many bad things in several previous lives.Florida's trade for Reinhart might be one of the best trades in NHL history.
The Flyers gave up more for Rasmus Ristolainen.

Actual NHL level GM's, who can actually evaluate and identify talent on bad teams, must just salivate for when the Sabres get to the point where they're forced to make changes season after season. Saddest part is, the guy shipped out is usually the lucky one(certainly happiest).Ex-Sabres are usually a huge part of another team winning the Stanley Cup shortly after they leave, so congrats to the Avs ahead of time.
We are finally coming around to blaming Adams. Only took a decade to see it starts at the top with these amateur GM's Pegula hired.Still makes me want to vomit that the Sabres fumbled him so bad. What a stupid stupid franchise.
