Gagner looked awesome in his rookie year, not sure what happend but he just kind of skates around now.

So Columbus it is? I kind of see why, they have some grit all over their forward core and it probably won't hurt to have him around (even though Columbus has a lot of young talent). He's yet another example of that awkward player type: not a good option for the bottom six, but top six minutes are a bit too much for him to handle. But it never hurts to take a shot at a low-risk player.

He's not effective in his own zone but he doesn't hurt your team? This makes no sense but do agree with the part about not being a fit on a playoff team for that very reason.

Marginally below average for a forward in his own zone. Not an asset in his own zone. Not a trainwreck either. You aren't going to notice him for good or bad reasons in his own zone. You're also probably going to limit own zone starts.
