They really don't. The team isn't contending for anything. If anything a goalie harms them. They need to be bad to get the entire management group fired from the top all the way down to whoever licks stamps for mailers, then once that's happened maybe they'll have a chance at being a relevant team again.

A goalie is just a band-aid over an infected abscess.

No one is getting fired. Dream on.

They need to play Fedotov and Kolosov to see what they have in those two, so in that sense, Ersson's injury makes life easier in the short-run.

Otherwise, this year and next year are going to look the same. They're not making major moves, if they didn't go out and get a veteran center last summer, it's not in the cards. There's a few guys at LHV who'll push for jobs next TC, along with Bonk. Barkey will probably go to LHV for a year while they sort out the other wings (Tuomaala, etc.).
