Edit: Actually unless it's a compound break you can play with a broken finger. So wrist?

Edit: Actually unless it's a compound break you can play with a broken finger. So wrist?

I think the word you're looking for is displaced, not compound. In a displaced fracture, the broken pieces don't line up, so (minor) surgery is required to line up the bones to heal straight. It's got a 10-14 day turnaround, so ... maybe.

He always played very well but received very few opportunities. I know Liiga isn't what it once was anymore but his numbers there were excellent. Good player. Hopefully the Canes will still be playing hockey when he returns...
