I'll say it... The scoring chance and expected numbers from the first period are bullshit. The Sabres dominated and the advanced metrics didn't reflect what actually happened.

The Wild definitely carried the play more in the second, and Sabres didn't generate much quality at all.

We definitely carried play and possession. But the final piece in and around the net wasn’t there 5v5. It was definitely there on the PP though.

EDIT: I didn’t look at any of the expected stats.

Disagree about Joker. He's been fine tonight. Krebs is high risk, low reward. And Cozens is simply invisible.

Can someone look up Cozens high danger Corsi for? I feel like his shot selection is mostly from the perimeter.

He gets shots from everywhere just can't finish.

Sitting at the game it certainly feels like we’ve dominated for long stretches tonight. But a majority of those 25 shots just didn’t feel all that dangerous. Someone’s gonna need to get into the dirty areas to finish this.

Cozens has been mine most of the year. He’s one of the first players I started off loving, then over time started to dislike. Its creeping up on hate. Mostly out of frustration of what he could and should be vs what he’s been the last year or so.
