Pressure really starts to ramp up if they lose this one...which I fully expect they will. Ottawa is a much better team than us. They have a real core of players and are finally getting good goaltending. I expect a 5-1 loss.

So they have what? 4 wins in 12 games? How does that stack up to last year?

Theyre getting their asses kicked tonight. Ottawa is going to play a heavy game. Buffalo is going to try harder than they did last year, but they'll once again choose rely on their skill game too much and lose.

At this point, Im fine with losses. Changes need to come. I was fine with Adams early on, but he doesn't know how to construct a roster. Im fine with a full rebuild after this season. Dahlin, Tuch, Cozens, etc...I dont care- theyve all been on this sinking ship for too long, and the stank has impacted their game. They'll all go on to greener pastures where they'll level up their game.

Meanwhile, barring some crazy change in play than what they've shown over the past year and a half, we just need to completely start from scratch. Get new leadership in here. Keep Ruff around to implement a decent system for the young players we keep to develop in, and hope we're a solid team in a couple of years.

May or may not be the best plan, but atleast it provides hope, and is the only thing that will make me pay attention again even though I have zero faith in Pegula hiring a qualified GM.

Seems Ottawa took a big step this season, on the other hand they lost to the habs who they beat usually.

Definitely don't agree with this plan, the global problem is not in the players. Or rather we lack quality players because of the GM, but this can be easily solved. We lack quality coaches, this can also be solved. We do not need another rebuild or retooling, our special teams are some of the worst in the league, it's because of the coaches. Who said that Appert is a good PP coach? Was he like that in Rochester and was he even responsible for PP there? I do not trade Dahlin and Thompson and build a team around them, we have normal players with whom you can work.

I think I’d rather watch that goofy dude on CNN with the giant TV with the election map on it.
