I know it's a bit of blasphemy but he always reminds me of Marchand, just lacking the shot.

Really high IQ, great playmaker, small but elusive, wins puck battles and gets in everyone's face.

He has the ability to be a 20/20 guy, I would assume most NHL caliber forwards are, if put into a good spot.

Two years ago Adams made the mistake of trusting unsustainable shooting percentages and assuming growth would be linear for every young player and here we are.

Benson is the one guy who I have no trouble trusting because he is unlucky in shooting and if it never turns around he’s still smarter and works harder than any other forward. And his passing is starting to show off now that he’s with top skill guys.

So go ahead and trust him.

Kulich I love but he could get in his head and start getting routinely beat on defense and goal scorers go cold…he was just in a long spell himself. But Benson…I ride with Benson.
