Again, it makes no sense. How is there supposed to be accountability? All you did is say they played bad and then pointlessly add “no accountability” after.

Should the sit half the team? Did you even think this through?
When you make the same mistakes over and over again, players and coaches are allowing it, there’s no accountability.

Good teams find ways to win

0-3 with 3 goals scored. I don't think we see the same thing

Mark this post come playoffs
And bad teams that are transitioning to a good teams will hit rough patches, especially when you send them to Europe. They had a ton of chances, hit probably 3-4 posts, Kuemper had a save of the year candidate and LA, much like NJ, plays that grind it out vet game. I was happy how they played today and losing on a 5-3 with a few min left to a another playoff team is good progress.

Get the power play working and clean up a few d zone gaffes and they will be fine.

What they do is not working. They havent put in the work this summer . Looks no good. Dahlin sloppy play cost them this game. They should be so angry That they would never accept a loss like this But they are just fine with it. Punish them

Sabres were the better team. They lack scoring talent. They still constantly make stupid mistakes. Zucker penalty was bullshit. Samuelsson penalty is was as dumb as it gets for a guy that's supposed to be smart and a leader. It's early yet but if Quinn also isn't what he was thought to be they are in some serious trouble.

Greenway looked pretty mad when he snapped that stick, players seemed pissed chirping the ref on the bench. Florida will be a great litmus test for them and they need to show up.

Will fix everything
Sigh. You realize we are now missing the playoffs by a point and this game will be brought up as the reason why in May.

Literally Kevyn Adams, 6 months from now "You know, if the refs don't give the kings a two man advantage late in our home opener, we get at least a point and are in the playoffs right now"

I kinda forgot we scored .1 seconds after the first.

Looking at the Zucker hit. The helmets/heads collide. Not sure what the rules state there. Could be a penalty but it never gets called if so.

A little too much Pollyanna in this post.

A point? This team will be mathematically out by February.

Sabres outplayed them, and especially in our own zone. Did the Kings get a second chance on a rebound all game? This game was just puck luck and that’s it. Bad timing for a game like that.

Penalty shouldn’t have been called on the Zucker hit. But there are plenty of times a season that will happen, you just need to work through it. Heck, I thought the two penalties Benson “drew” were just moments of guys fighting for position and Benson losing that battle. Didn’t feel they were really interference penalties. But hard work sometimes rewards with opportunities. Buffalo didn’t cash in on them.

It won't be that easy. They will come around, get our hopes up, get everyone excited, and have a heroic run to 9th place, hurting our draft position and ensuring another year of a poorly run operation

If they are out of it in February, at least we'll get a new GM, right?
