It'd be pretty dope if Buffalo sports can do a victory sweep this weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun).
Just stat watching, but the Isles appear to be a bit better than their record. It appears they're in most of the games they lose, even heavily outshooting teams in losses.
They need to bring that intensity because I have to think the Isles will make them work to get to the front of the net.

I really wish I could finally reach a point with the Sabres where a loss happens and I can just have the confidence that everything will be fine the next game. Maybe a 5 + game winning streak could cure that.

Today was an optional morning skate, so you can't go off of what they looked like this morning.

Going by that data, the Isles are playing much better than their record indicates. Also, 30th in goals saved above expected is dreadful. UPL and/or Levi need to get their heads out of their asses if this team is going anywhere.
If Benson is ready to go- I'd assume they put him in for Quinn.

The Islanders have played 10 games. They've gotten shutout in 4 and have 22 goals in the other 6 (IE, 3.75 GPG).
Feast or famine team.....that has ONE regulation win this season.......and they're going to be without their best offensive player.
No reason whatsoever to not get at least 1 point tonight.

I feel like we've been better than the Islanders for 3 seasons now, but the Isle still manage to squeeze more points out of every season than us. Also doesn't help that in head to head match ups they've gotten some ridiculously over the top help from the officials.
They're old, slow and unskilled. They turn every game into a clutch and grab grindfest with the intention of making it to overtime. Don't let them get away with it.
