This drives me insane about the NHL, especially when dealing with the star players. Imagine if Josh Allen got hurt and you can’t even get a comment from the coach. The NHL really needs to do better when it comes to this type of stuff.

With how hard they've leaned into gambling, I expect the injury stuff to follow. It's part of why the NFL has such comprehensive injury reports.

The NHL is a shithole organization, from stuff like this all the way to enforcement of rules and punishment. to the officiating., They'll never f***ing learn.

Dahlin is elite at taking boneheaded penalties late in a close game. Tired of that crap. And yeah, people can point to the injuries, but giving up 7 goals to Montreal is embarrassing. The goalies seemed to be ass, so that doesn't help, but still...yuck.

Samuelson getting injured in a post whistle scrum after a week’s rest is so, well, Samuelsson. Dude is made out of glass.
Tage as well. The man is always dealing with something, which is especially annoying because he's a savage when healthy.

Edit: To say I feel for Tage. He's been nothing but a pro here, and he's a damn good hockey player.

Look at today. It's a great example of enforcement of rules. Til the 2nd period the game was evenly called. As soon as the Sabres took the lead, it felt like they were looking to call any Sabre to get the Habs back in the game. From then on the game changed.

I liked the league back in 2006-2008:when they called everything.

On the contrary. They’ve learned to bow down before their sports betting masters.

I can’t prove it, but a good chunk of the zebra population is on the take. Too much money to not be.

Maybe get Musk and Zuckerberg to officiate some games? Much harder to bribe gazillionaires.

Sorry everyone. My fault.

I'll be planted in front of my TV Wednesday night to atone for my sins.

Wait...............................
Every time I've tuned in (all three times), they've been scored on within two minutes and lost the game. About the only game day text I share with my Sabres friends is the Simpsons meme of grandpa walking in the bar and turning around to walk out.

I could, have, and will in the future shit all over NHL officiating, but I need to take a minute to say that Quinn was EMBARRASSING today. Falling over on a Power play while holding the puck? He got twisted up in his own legs? Somebody check him for CTE or something because that boy ain't right.

Next year, can they knock it off with requesting Matinee games?

Matinee games are good for New York, Boston, Philadelphia... places with a ton of entertainment options. Day games bring more eyes and attendance. Buffalo, this is not the case. It's just silly. I was at work today. Saturday, I was at my kids' hockey game. That red wings game i was pumpkin picking with my family. We have like 4 hours of daylight. Don't put sabres games on during it.
Friday and Saturday nights are made for home hockey games in Buffalo and Canada. It's the heartbeat of the city.

I'd also say it's a competitive disadvantage to some degree. 1230 on Monday? Completely out if any sort of routine. I don't know the stats, but it feels like they lose a huge proportion of these day games.

This day game thing was a pegula initiative. I hate it and it's another area they miss the mark.

I mean he did and McDermott said something like, it's getting looked and and we'll know more later. Same thing with Coleman, we knew it was a wrist but nobody knows what or for how long.

This is the second game in a row I've missed, not anticipating it to be an afternoon game. By the sounds of it, think I'm glad I missed out on the blood pressure test. It would be nice to not be disappointed for a meaningful amount of time
I missed the game too.

And also glad I did. Home game to a Division rival hurts in the standings and playoff potential.

Hey Terry......Maybe Veteran's Day means little to you but it's supposed to be a reflective day that honors our service men and women.

Rick is clearly looking on in horror at what was unfolding out on the ice.

So this game shows how much left sabres have to be good and a playoff team . Any trades that can save the season before going on a losing streak ?

I can't go all the way with agreeing on this. Having to shuffle literally every line because of injuries that hit in a 7 min span is tough. And ****ing Justin ****ing K-****ing-E****ing-A Kea.

Interesting post game from Lindy:
  • No update on Tage
  • Primary issues were dumb penalties and got out-muscled on a couple goals (paraphrasing here)
  • Said that energy was probably an issue with this being the 4th game in 7 days, but the guys need to play smarter
  • Said UPL had an "ailment" from practice that was affecting him and that's why he got pulled
  • Said Cozens game is coming around
  • Asked if he thought Power got pulled down on GA #4, said that Power just got outmuscled

No trades...KA loves his guys...Once January rolls around and things start meaning more and getting more intense I fully expect these losers to fold...KA will ride it out and do nothing and they'll miss the playoffs again for the 14th time in a row....I'm hoping Pegula will get a real GM in here who will overhaul the roster and change the culture

So if your goalie gets dinged up in practice the day before playing a bottom feeder team, wouldn’t you start the back up? Unless you don’t have confidence in that back up. Which seems to be the case. Get a back up, and send Levi down. Do it yesterday ffs.
