Ok prove it. Its ridiculous that you are saying 0% chance about it. .

Prove it please. zero probability is not possible.
By the rule, a player who is pushed into the crease and interferes with the goalie is judge to not interfere with the goalie. The player has to enter the crease and / or interferes with the goalie on his own.

That’s the NHL rule. The video showed Samuelson push the Bruin, who lost his edge and took out Reiner’s left leg.

By rule, it’s not goaltender interference.

By your logic, Ruff is betting on some phantom sympathy of an official in Toronto over the actual rule book.

Except if he swept the leg intentionally which is a decision the review judge has to make NOT you.

So its not 0%

You know what is 0% Buffalo winning by pulling the goalie cause they lost.

With the asterisk that if an opposing player pushes a Sabre into their goalie the rule is immediately null and void.

Go read rule 69 in the NHL rule book. It explains it pretty clearly.

There’s no proof on the overhead that he intentionally swept the leg. When a player is falling like that, they turn their skate blades to try to stop. That’s exactly what the Bruin did.

Ruff loses this challenge every time.

Ok you are right. You reached into the brain of the goal judge and you are correct. You were able to predict an outcome that was never decided.

I disagree. Ruff was losing that challenge based on the overhead video.
We can agree to disagree. Although I do understand whyRuff would feel snake bit.

But Ruff's alternative response had zero chance of working as well. Especially with this team. (They aren't the efing Avalanche for crying out loud.)

Even Dave Jackson stated last night that GI is based on interpretation. It's a judgement call. So they went to Toronto with the call and guess what? Ruff lost there too.

That call last night was so baseless.

Bottom line, Craig Berube has more pull and respect from the hockey establishment than Lindy Ruff. Sorry Lindy. Time to retire. You are going to give yourself a coronary trying to fix this team.

It's all moot since they'd find a way to lose the game anyway. My take was that he entered the crease by putting his leg out. You can't swan dive into the goalie from any sort of contact.

1st goal was 100% goalie inteference though. His skate made contact with Reimer even before the first shot.

I can't believe how bad the Bruins looked this game and we still lost. Lindy has now sucked harder than Krueger. You find less lethargic people in Austrian basements than on the Sabres roster.

I think Pegula and Adams are much more to blame. Kevyn just didn't build this roster and develop our players correctly.
Meh pegulas poor money into the team and nobody is giving up quality top six players for guys who have underperformed but retooling the team is a must it will suck to see players go but the good vibes in the lockerroom are fading not due to lockerroom politics but more so the losses are building up on their mind

If you think it's between Berube and Ruff and not between the cash printing machine that is the Leafs and the should be relegated Sabres...

I am going off reading rule 69 and watching the video. I get what you are saying about interpretation but after seeing how hard Samuelson cross checked the hip, there’s no way that gets overturned.
