Have to wonder about hockey IQ of the Sabres broadcast as well. Marty just said he would play the puck off the Zamboni entrance to get some crazy bounces...now thats some clutching at straws!

It was planned he wasn't playing in back to back games
no one has confirmed that have they ?

Duff mentioned it during the intermission that it was the plan, I assume he has good sources.

I would reckon that the vast majority of Sabres on this roster do NOT possess NHL level stick skills. They do not appear to own needed upper body strength .

And the necessary explosive quick acceleration need to be 1st to the puck is missing.

They are a slow team. And not very smart either.

Power with back to back crap passes to clear the zone.

Back hand to nowhere that would’ve put 2 Sabres forwards into terrible position had it not left the zone. Then the crap pass that led to Pasta’s chance.

See what I mean? The structure was there, 4 players did the right thing and one guy makes two terrible pass decisions which could’ve cost the team.

Power gave up the blue line but got lucky.

What is the point of coaches if they aren't teaching these guys how to play?
