The only staff tie I see is to former video assistant Adam Nightingale when he was an assistant for the US WC team in 2021 (long after Adam had left). Thin stuff, even with Adam's brother being part of the amateur scouting staff for the Sabres.

A sort of move that feels like it shouldn't be made that big of deal one way or the other of how you feel about it or management.

Let's hope he improves the role he would be filling in, enough where maybe Adams can make further moves to move guys out and maybe make bigger moves. I doubt it, but we'll see what happens next.
