Bryson noticeably getting out-muscled in net-front situations. He's fine with teams that don't fore check, but once the Sabres are defending, he struggles. They need to go back to Gilbert.

IIrc the away bench at SAP has no room for the backup goalie, so he sits down in the corner somewhere.

Same situation in Raleigh. It's crazy.

Yeah, he just has the wrong build for the way he plays. There’s a reason most of the league’s undersized success stories are offensive dynamos. Shame for Bryson because I think he’s talented enough that he’d be more of an NHL regular if he were a few inches taller.

I agree about Bryson but they don’t trust Gilbert with many minutes. He’s averaged around 10mins 5v5. Whereas Bryson is near 15mins.
