This is very true. Also the Devils are a much better team than people gave them credit for at the start of the season.

This team has been playing fundamental hockey all season. The puck support is leaps and bounds above anything we’ve seen in a long time. All players are actively using their sticks to take away lanes, break up plays, and stick check. It was only a matter of time until we started netting more wins. The stalled PP for the first 10 games cost us points, but now with the PP returning and Cozens/Quinn playing better hockey we are climbing the standings.

This team just needs to stay locked in until game #82 and I am happy we have Ruff here because he has the experience to keep the team fired up.

Weird that Cozens with Benson and Krebs the only line to win their matchup at 5-on-5 and they were only together 3:15. Everyone else kinda got paddled.

Boston/Detroit ended in regulation with a Bruins win, Tampa lost...good day on the scoreboard other than Islanders winning.

I thought the Red Wings outplayed the Bruins but my wife and brother in law do not agree. Also the Red Wings fans hate Petry and aren't fans of Lalonde either.

Just happy it ended in regulation. I was watching the Sabres game on my phone between whistles.

They’re playing fun hockey too. Skill is showing up. I love “pressure” hockey, don’t sit back, go after them. Hate being passive. Very good use of a lot of our guys speed skill set.

Playing a bottom team, and not really playing down to them. Good job.

Awesome f***ing trip. 4-1 without Tage, sweeping Cali. Finding ways to win when you don’t have your best game, when you’re tired and the other guys are juiced for Jumbo’s retirement. Guys stepping up for guys who are out.
