You’re not getting it.

Cousins has been a passive and soft player ever since he got beat up. He pulls up on hits doesn’t engage physically, rarely engages in scrums, doesn’t try to impose himself physically, etc. It’s not a coincidence his offensive game disappearing has coincided with that.

So when I see him stand there when the nasty stuff starts. It’s very frustrating because it’s yet another reminder of the player we lost. That you’re worried about a potential penalty is missing the forest for the trees.

I’m lamenting the loss of the Cozens we used to have more so than hating on him.

Cozens hasn't been passive or soft at all other than some silly narrative he's 3rd on the team in hits behind Beck and Clifton.

Fun fact: I went to Joe Thornnton's first game as a Shark. It was against the Sabres and they lost 5-0. I think Joe had 2 or 3 assists that night.

We keep splitting these periods with SJ. They've been dominating the opening halfs then we turn it on in the back end. So bizarre.
