I thought they were terrible when I first started watching around the 14 minute mark, then they had a solid shift before they scored a goal. From that point on, they played muched better.

Reimer also looks calm in net. Making the routine saves look routine. Smart plays with the puck. Not putting his guys in tough spots. It's encouraging, and Im sure is helping the teams confidence.

it wasn't even a dirty hit you seem to be awfully ok with an action that would have put us at a 3v5 and probably would have scored 2 goals against us and we wouldn't have come back.

You’re not getting it.

Cousins has been a passive and soft player ever since he got beat up. He pulls up on hits doesn’t engage physically, rarely engages in scrums, doesn’t try to impose himself physically, etc. It’s not a coincidence his offensive game disappearing has coincided with that.

So when I see him stand there when the nasty stuff starts. It’s very frustrating because it’s yet another reminder of the player we lost. That you’re worried about a potential penalty is missing the forest for the trees.

I’m lamenting the loss of the Cozens we used to have more so than hating on him.
