Very weird that the Jumbo Joe ceremony is tonight. I would have thought that the Sharks would retire his jersey when Boston came to town.

He mentioned going to the Old Auditorium and watching Sabres games when he was growing up. Also his first Sharks game was against the Sabres so it’s kind of a full circle moment. Seems like he has a soft spot for your franchise.

Oh look. 4 centers, without Tage in the lineup, and Cozens is on the wing.

Like most veteran coaches, Lindy can get stuck in his thinking, but maybe he's come to a conclusion about Cozens.

To those complaining about Cozens being our favorite whipping boy, I say that we all want him to be a solid contributor. Most of us believe he can. Many of us think playing on the wing affords him the best opportunity to do that.

I don't mind people whining about him when he makes a stupid mistake but when Benson threw a pass that set him up to take a hit and people calling him soft is going overboard. I try to look at every Sabre neutral and try to get rid of the bias. I get pissed off when Cozens does his stupid drop pass bs in Ozone constantly but some people seem to be whining about every little thing.

I remember the trade and I believe I went to that game. It was like 5-0 San Jose IIRC.
