Foligno will win you games. He is a damn good 3rd liner with upside. Has a lot better hands than he gets credit for. Hoping Bylsma lets him play his game this year.
A lot of money for an AHLer.

RFA after the deal is up or?
If this is such an overpayment, why wouldn't the Sabres not offer him a qualifying offer and then negotiate a contract with less salary like the Devils did with Beau Bennett?
I think it was his rookie year or the year after Melrose had him #3 on the league's top power forwards, so I waited, and waited, and waited. I think he is what he is at this point. Seems like he puts up third line numbers though so that's something at least.
except he became a 3rd liner last season and will be one this season.
What if they get Vesey? Will he still be a 3rd liner?
Buffalo has a lot of system depth at winger coming up they have..
Fasching, Bailey, baptiste, carrier, Nylander and other recent draft picks
This isn't counting Vesey.
The uncertainty is what kind of winger is he..will he become a 20 goal or more power forward or an 8-12 g scorer who is more in line with being a 4th liner.
Sure they could negotiate a little Niger contract but at a lower price but he still has room he could grow into.
It was his rookie year. He got called up and was on fire. After his rookie year of 11/12 you had the coaching carousel and the tanking that moved him all over the place from 1st line winger to 4th line center. He got a little bit higher 2nd contract which has raised the QO for this year.
Yes. At least to start the season. His line was very good the entire time they were together.
So Moulson would play on the 4th line? Genuinely curious.
He did most of last season.
Cool thanks. I was just hoping that the signing meant that they had no room for Vesey.

Okay I get this is only one year but Martin signs for 2.5 and is a hitting machine and our brass gets roasted for the move. Like I said I get that it's only one year but it's only 250K less. Just saying
