They could be, it'd be odd. Jokiharju was tied for the team lead at +6, so it's not like they were getting beat while he was on the ice. Samuelsson was -3 and the only D who was a negative.

Plus/Minus is a seriously flawed stat, but it's hard to be doing really well in it AND be a reason a team is losing.

My guess is some of this has to do with UPL being +5 GSAA these two games.

I thought Joki was having his best season so far. He was… serviceable? Not great, not terrible. Didn’t really notice him most nights, which is an improvement

I didn’t watch the 2-1 loss to Detroit. Maybe that would have changed my perspective?

I remember the '05-'06 team sucked at first.
Who knows?

Nah, that team was solid from the beginning (7-4-0 in October). They had a slump right after Miller got hurt, including a couple really rough losses to Ottawa, then had win streaks of 3, 5, and 7 to end the year right.

you are right, that was a lame effort w your goalie working a shutout in Madison Square , can't play perfect . they won like 55 minutes today
