It's pretty much standard process to let the goalie get away with the initiation and penalize the retaliation (as minor as it was by Poo). Wish it wasn't that way. I hate that crap.

He's great as a forechecker. But I think Fast totally fulfills his role in a more effective manner. Perhaps it is just an off year stemming from not being able to adequately prepare in the offseason due to shoulder surgery?

I am truly excited about our prospects in the playoffs. This game just proves how good we really are. We are playing a ho hum game against a young hungry goalie and a team with something to prove and the score is tied. We have not even begun to step it up to the next level.

I feel the game would still be tied if we were skating backwards.

I think he just is what he is, it's not like he has 5 goals this year, he has 17 iirc. That's a decent total for him.
