Without going in to specifics on names, is the general feeling you'd rather move one of the bigger prospects before Huberdeau?

Florida has the space for a Panarin/Bobrovsky signing, but with Dadonov and Hoffman both UFAs after next season, and with a need on the blueline, Florida could move one of Hoffman or Huberdeau for help on the blueline, in turn possibly allowing us to re-sign the other next season. I’d rather go for someone like Trouba though
Sorry, went in to specifics because you need to know the situation. I’d rather give up picks/prospects.

Ristolainen is nowhere near the player he was hyped to be a year or two ago. that 1 for 1 trade would be as bad as Hall for Larsson

I was with you right up to the end.
Hall>Huberdeau
Risto>Larsson

However, such a trade would no doubt mean that the better player would be going to Buffalo.

A neutral fan here. I feel like this would be a win for Florida. Reduce Ristolainen's ice time or responsibility a little bit and he will no longer leak so bad in the defensive end. After that he will look like a much better player with his plus minus and all that.

This season still at #8 in in the league in TOI/GP, ~25 minutes a game.

I just don't see how Buffalo can afford to trade its top (for now) defenseman for what would be our #2 LW. I certainly have no interest in watching Scandella/McCabe/Hunwick/Bogo playing 22+ minutes per game, every game, nor in rushing Dahlin into a role he's not ready for yet.

Agreed, but as you know there are others that are eager to make the same mistake with Dahlin as was done with Risto.

Don't have to provide a link, It was just posted a day or two ago. That Huberdeau gets moved in a deal to bring both Bob and Panarin to Florida. Huberdeau isn't on the market other then for Tallon to get Panarin as well.
You're chastising other people for not reading it, when all it was is a rumor that some guy made up. Get off your high horse, especially since you don't know what you're talking about. Here is the article.

Nowhere in it does it say that "Huberdeau will only be dealt to Columbus to bring Panarin to Florida". But go ahead and keep making stuff up, clown.
