Garrett Sparks has been amazing tonight. Probably his best game of the season. I hope he keeps it up

Babcock is why lindholm was a permanent fixture in the lineup.

Oh yeah? So you don't think Moore developing in the AHL wasn't the best move for him? Playing around 20 minutes a game over 8-10 mins up here?

Favorite moment of the game was Hyman with the Marner pass to Marner. That would have been the play of the year if Marner scored lol...he got a great chance and then almost gave Marner an empty net to shoot at.

Hyman is a guy with ~100 points in three season with the Leafs, signed to a cheap deal and we got him basically for free.

Moore is probably better than Marleau and Hyman.

and leivo should never have come out of the lineup for lindholm either.

It's the fact Lindholm wouldn't have come out the lineup, therefore one of Moore/goat/Ennis would not be playing.
Babcock is Moore's biggest fan. Go back to training camp and he was pumping his tires relentlessly, trying to get him to believe he was an NHL player. If you think Babcock wasn't pushing to get him back up, you're crazy. Again, he singled him out when nobody really thought him a serious option.
