Just saw the post-game video and the team (McLeod) gave their player of the game award to Malenstyn for that shot block and then returning.

Im not sure what they showed on TV, but he was writhing in pain on the ice for a looong time. I expected him to go directly to IR.

I feel like a broken record but we don’t even know if he’s a third pairing option. No one ever tries him there. He’s either getting top four minutes he can’t handle outside of Dahlin dragging him to borderline passable…or he’s been given weeks off by Lindy.

The bottom line is the guy is going to be gone after this season at the latest…and he only hurts you on the ice. I don’t know what the point is of playing him anywhere but, maybe, a tryout on the third pair.

I understand not liking Bryson full time in the top 4. But he’s better than Joker. I also understand that Clifton and Joker is maybe the worst pairing you could draw up even on the third pair. And boy do I understand that he can’t play with Owen Power.

Hmm…sounds like someone should have added a top 4 D doesn’t it?

Joker just lost at musical chairs. No matter where he plays, he makes the team worse.

Yeah, they did show him in a great deal of pain trying to get back into the play and then trying to get off the ice again. And then they showed them being helped down the hallway to the dressing room. Looked like the puck hit him on the outside of his knee. Maybe it was a case of dropfoot?

bruh you really gotta hate on Cozens on every post even though Quinn has been the one hindering him if anything.

If you really think that it's Quinn's fault what we're seeing from Cozens ... we're seeing the game very differently. Cozens was bar-none the worst player on the ice yesterday...terrible. He's had what? one good game all year ... maybe two? He literally couldn't handle a puck last night it was hard to watch. Sorry that I'm pointing it out so often, but it's getting to a point where he's literally their worst player, neck and neck with Lafferty and Jokiharju.

Also, Quinn wasn't even on his line. He played with Kulich and they were our best line by far. I'm sorry I was a bit ahead on Cozens, but he's straight up been bad for a long time and racked up points on a high-scoring PP.

it was you with the claim that Cozens was holding him back when he's struggling to get in 2 shots a game playing on the 2nd line while Cozens is actually winning puck battles and actually getting possession of the puck meanwhile it'd be hard to list 5 times Quinn has won any or won a 1v1 at any point in this season. His only goal of the season is an empty netter that went off our own crossbar a few seconds before...for all the whine about Cozens Quinn hasn't put in an ounce of effort to actually do anything notable this season.

Lafferty has been the worst of the 4th line acquisitions IMO. Don’t get the promotion at all.

I think Laff has something positive to offer but he's just not gelled with anyone nor any role. Yet.... (I hope...)

You can literally watch the smoke coming out of Cozen's ears as he's trying to make a decision on what to do on the ice.

Not joking. The hesitation and confusion is notable. Something is very wrong with him maybe going back to his concussion?

It looked like he took the shot in the knee. Could be wrong, it looked like the skate ankle at first but later showed it was higher.

Personally, I would never open up and expose the inner or outer side of my knee to anyone's slap shot but that's how they are told to block shots these days. Just efin' nutz.
