They are who we knew they were. (The Sabres, that is.)

Slow, low skilled, stupid. Bottom 3rd NHL team....... most of the time. Not ready for prime time players.

Every play we make is 1/2 second too slow against a team like Carolina ... it's honestly embarrassing
They were slow tonight, unskilled and full of themselves. Cozen's opening FOmove was a joke.

But it certainly set the tone for the game. Good job Dylan.

You think they are getting a 1C in this draft? At least you have all this time as a Sabre fan to build up the callous of disappointment.
Unless we're lucky enough to get Hagens or Misa and develop them properly, which won't be easy.
Just to point out that Eric Robinson in Columbus was 1:30 for SHTOI and then only averaged 0:18 in Buffalo. He's up at 0:47 in Carolina. Just another guy who the bulk of this staff couldn't figure out how to use.
That's why I have questions about this Malenstyn trade. You already had Robinson, re-sign him and spend this 2nd and another 2nd for Marino. Adams has no idea how to evaluate players and what players needs this team. Finding a fourth liner is easier than getting a top 4 RD.

They are just so unlikeable.

I gave up on them so early this year. Let's just hope they keep losing so Pegula's hand is forced. Change is the only (slim) chance we have at turning this thing around. If they win a bunch of meaningless games to end the year, then I fear Adams will still be at the helm. They need to sink into the abyss further because Pegula has shown that year to year regression isn't enough to get Adams fired. We need a full on implosion to end the year. Yuck.

Also, Cozens got his ass kicked again? That boy can't afford to have his confidence rocked any harder. Geez.

I don't think anything will move Pegula to do anything and that Adams is likely safe and won't do anything regardless of their finish. I would assert that the only way out is by winning now and winning later and winning to start next year. Start learning how to act like professionals instead of like a bunch of children. Learn how to have a B game that can win on a night when the A game isn't there. It's not full implosion territory when the first two factors are at play. That just sets them back even more.

I have zero faith that this team has it in them to figure that out. Adams can't add the right pieces to get them there. We heard all offseason from Adams and Ruff that they want to revamp the bottom 6 and become tougher to play against. Well, they whiffed hard.

I unfortunately think this road is going to be hard and draining over the next few years. The center depth is laughable (again!), and the defense is the island of misfit toys. This timeline sucks.

I don't think it's going to work, not with this team, not with this owner, not with this GM. Until some person rubs Terry's nose in this shit (I don't know, daughter, friend, whoever) and shows him what he's done, this mess will continue.

I shut it off when it was 2-0. It wasn’t the score, it was that they didn’t come to play. I mean, I get it….when you’re as good as the Sabres are you can afford a lackluster effort and win on talent alone.
