I asked this in another thread. What kind of injury causes you to miss 1 game? You're either out a few days or you play. Unless you're ill, you should be playing. Sorry, but i feel those 2 key players let the team down. That game should have been a win and would have been if they played. Every game is important at this point and they shouldve been there. I know i sound crazy and i have no idea what the "injuries" were, but i hold to my opinion.

Missing 1 game is more common than you think. Drouin apparently was pulled 5 minutes before last game. He may have had bruised fingers, or had inflammation. It's not the playoffs, so no reason to play through it.

It could have been something simple like a bruise that made him unable to fully grasp the stick or unable to put full pressure when they skated. Something that only takes a few days to heal where it's playable but would be a liability if they played that game.
